We were asked to partner with Sutphin Boulevard, a not-for-profit organization whom adopts and supports families in need.  Our first community event with Sutphin Boulevard is participation in an Outreach for Mothers …we are also asking our clients if they know of someone who needs a makeover , share their story of why they need a makeover and we will help to make this happen.  In order to qualify for this makeover, please submit (via email) jeanettew54@gmail.com no later than January 12, 2012 five (5) lines of why you are deserving of this fabulous makeover.   We will be selecting three(3) individuals for the January 16, 2012 makeover.

It’s that time of the year when natural girls have a lot of options.   I have added pictures to see that you can flat twist, rod, twist, straw set and blow out hair and it will last you.

We are having a “Natural Curly Girl”  Workshop.  I have seen and met clients who purchase a number of products, but are not using them to their best potential.  We carry:  Kerasoft, Jane Carter, Mixed Chicks, Design Essential and Deva Curl.  All products are personal to what your own uniqueness of feel and desire curl is.  Sometimes I have to actually do a Curl because someone wants a desired type of curl and that is great also just as long as you get what you want.

FEATHERS

The “hottest” trend are “FEATHERS”….   Ever since Steven Tyler from American Idol put a feather in his hair it has been “HOT”.   We have some for $50. (3 feathers) or $10 a feather and we can attach them.  If you have your own feather we will attach them for $4.

RECONSTRUCT VAPOR IRON

As some of you know we use  Joico Color Line and the use the K Pak Technology treatment which we use for our color clients  it has the Quadraion protein.  This treatment  has been one of the BEST treatments for breakage for years.   Technology has become awesome.  It now has the Quadrain protein that is put into the flatiron.   It replenishes; moisturizes; and reconstructs.

The vapor then adheres to the culticle and seals cuticle.  Haven’t seen results from this yet, but we will be offering $15.00 for the treatment a savings of $5.00 through July 20.  Just FYI since we have been using the Awphui treatment we have been using that Treatment instead of the Joico.  So time will tell how the iron works if  it exceeds the Awaphui.
