How quickly the holidays are HERE!!!!!….. Time is dashing and we have to enjoy this season since there is so much going on in the world and in our own lives.

FASHION.. is so fun this season.  Designers have brought us back to another time because they don’t want us to deal with reality of cyberspace and the future. Everything is sophisticated, elegant, romantic, and sexy. The razzle, dazzle, and glitter is here, so PUT something on during the holidays so you can have your follies & frills and have a THRILL this season.

Bring it out of the closet: lace, frilly lingerie, feathers, jewels, sparkling accessories, beads, corsets, and rhinestones. It all works from underclothes to dresses, so get those garters out. Don’t forget that leopard prints can work for a party also.

Hats are HOT. The crazier the shape, the better you will look. You can even throw a feather in it.  I know Dale will have her share of feathers, LOL…. Our client with the parrot.

MAKEKUP

Eyes are everything this season… bold and beautiful.  If you ever wanted lashes, this is the season to do it and feel sexy and “hot”.  Eshani and Dionne both do lashes. If you want to be FAST and FORWARD, you can also add color to your eyebrows. If you don’t like eye-shadows and color, a Kabuki Lip “HOT AND RED” can work with a great thick eyeliner….

Ladies, please do something fun in fashion for the Holidays… You won’t regret feeling sexy and wonderful…
Enjoy!!!

Paul Mitchell Show at Madam Tousannt’s

It was a great time hob-nobbing it with the celebrities.  Meeting John Paul, the owner of Paul Mitchell products was one of those “hairstylist” moments.  His energy and dedication to the industry was heart-warming.

Jamaica Cultural Center

Girrrrrly’s, I went to a great concert at our Cultural Center on Jamaica Ave. & 153rd.  It was wonderful.  I went to see Xiomara Laugart a Cuban singer she was the star of “Queen of Salsa” Celia Cruz in the musical Celia.  The band was a latin funk band and also received Latin Grammys.  It was a delight to see Dominique a client there who was also enjoying the show and the ambiance of a New York flair.

During intermission the wine bar  was very reasonable with gourmet coconut chocolate custard…it was and enjoyable night in Jamaica, Queens.

Check out the culture in Queens if you haven’t.
